WWE NXT star Roderick Strong, 38, is backstage at today's Smackdown taping, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
Strong lost this past Tuesday to WALTER/Gunther. He is slated to wrestle in a dark match on tonight's taping.
Strong, who held the WWE NXT North American and WWE NXT Cruiserweight Championships as well as the NXT Tag Team title as part of The Undisputed Era, signed with WWE in 2016. He had a healthy career in Ring of Honor before that, holding the ROH World title as well as many, many other titles.
