LIVE NOTES FROM RAW AT UBS ARENA IN LONG ISLAND, NY

By Mike Johnson on 2021-11-29 19:54:00

We will be updating with live noted from tonight's Raw taping in Belmont, Long Island NY, WWE'S debut at the UBS Arena all evening.

*The arena had a COVID-19 testing facility outside as you need to test negative or be vaccinated to enter.

*The new arena looks pretty top notch.

*A big portion of the upper deck is taped off.

*They are selling an exclusive New York 3:16 shirt with orange colors (The Islanders) tonight.

*T-Bar defeated Akira Tozawa for Main Event in a long match.

*They introduced the announcing team for Raw.

* Big reaction for Finn Balor jumping Seth Rollins.

*They aired a video package pushing Wrestlemania 38 weekend after the RK-Bro entrance.

*That Dolph Ziggler-Bobby Roode entrance theme is so anti-climactic and flat.  It's got to go.

*After Damian Priest entrance they went dark during the commercial break and hit Rock's theme music for a segment where crowd imitated Rock on the video screens.  For the first 10 seconds nk video played and for a moment they thought Rock was coming out live, which was pretty funny.

*Cedric Alexander's selling all the way to the back was excellent after he was pinned by the Dominik Mysterio frog splash.

*After Raw went off the air, they hit the music for The Bloodline's entrance immediately.  No Paul Heyman.  Roman Reigns easily got the biggest pop of the night.

*The dark main event saw Drew McIntyre & The New Day defeated The Usos and Roman.  Kofi Kingston was worked over for a long time.  Drew scored the pin with the Claymore Kick on one of the Usos  Good 20 minute main event.
