WWE has signed former EVOLVE Tag Team Champion and FIP Champion Anthony Henry, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources. He will be heading to train at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando in advance of his eventual WWE NXT debut.
Henry, 36, has been one of the central performers from the North Carolina scene in recent years, where he's been one of the most important talents for PremiereWrestling Xperience out of the Carolinas, holding all of their major championships over the years. Henry finished up there over the weekend and posted the following farewell statement on his social media:
With that being said, I am extremely proud of my matches last night, especially the last fight with @RealJDDrake. Once it drops, please go watch it. We left all out in the ring. https://t.co/uSUYgQeiu2

It appears Henry's final independent wrestling appearance will be indie match will be against Nolan Edward on 2/12 for ACTION Wrestling in Tyrone, Georgia, which would point to a mid/late reporting to the WWE PC.
