As reported earlier this week, Dave Marquez's United Wrestling Network announced they were suspending PPVs going forward due to, in part, uncertainty brought on by the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
As it turns out, the promotion dodged a bullet with that decision as Thunder Studios, where the shows emanated from, has been shut down for the next 2-3 weeks due to the local Stay at Home order in Los Angeles, CA. By pausing the PPVs themselves, the promotion staved off having the shows canceled for them.
UWN has announced they intend to resume PPVs in 2021, including a United Wrestling Network Championship match between Chris Dickinson and MIke Bennett.
