John Brody, who held the position of Executive Vice President, Global Head of Sales and Partnerships, exited the company earlier this week. We have heard he was let go on either Wednesday or Thursday.
As PWInsider.com reported last month, WWE's Global Sales and Partnerships division shifted to fall under Stephanie McMahon-Levesque back in August with Brody, who previously headed that area, now reporting to her.
Brody had been with the company for close to six years and had worked as an advisor to WWE prior to coming on board full-time. His resume notes he was a "key member of the company’s Executive Committee responsible for providing strategic vision for WWE’s global Sales operations while also growing and expanding the company’s global media partnerships" and through his work, "WWE’s global sales revenue increased 110% from 2015 to 2020 driven by multi-platform partnerships with blue-chip brands including Procter & Gamble, Cricket Wireless, Coca-Cola, Mars, Hyundai and Unilever."
PWInsider.com is told a significant portion of Brody's team had been furloughed earlier this year and many were later let go.
PWInsider.com is also hearing there were additional Executive terminations this week and are currently working to confirm those departures.
