WWE's Future of WWE - The FCW Story will air on FS1 on Tuesday 5/26 at 10 PM, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
The documentary, which originally aired on the WWE Network, looks back at the final WWE developmental predecessor of WWE NXT, Steve Keirn's Florida Championship Wrestling (aka FCW before the NXT brand took on that distinction.
Based in Tampa, Florida, FCW ran from From October 2007 until August 2012 with a weekly series on The Brighthouse Network in Florida. With Dusty Rhodes heavily involved, the idea was that FCW was continuing on the tradition of the former Eddie Graham territory in Florida with a number of WWE names starting out in the promotion, including Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Paige and more.
FCW was shut down when WWE made the decision to move developmental to the Orlando area as part their relationship with Full Sail University.
