While WWE NXT will be expanding into a two-hour weekly series, it will not initially be two hours on the USA Network.
PWInsider.com has exclusively confirmed with WWE sources that the 9/18 and 9/25 episodes of WWE NXT will air live from 8 PM - 9 PM Eastern on the USA Network from Full Sail Live. The second hour of those episodes will then air live on the WWE Network. So, hour one on USA. Hour two on the WWE Network.
Starting Wednesday 10/2, NXT will air their complete two hour live broadcasts on the USA Network and that will be the norm from that point on.
Announced for the 9/18 episode is Roderick Strong challenging the Velveteen Dream for the NXT North American Championship and a Triple Threat featuring Mia Yim vs. Bianca Belair vs. Io Shirai with the winner becoming the top contender to Shayna Baszler's WWE NXT Women's Championship.
