Former WWE Diva Terri Runnels was arrested at 7:32 AM this morning at the Tampa Airport and charged with possession of a concealed weapon. The charge is punishable by up to five years in prison and up to $5,000 in fines as it is a class three felony.
The location of Runnels' arrest is listed as 4200 George J Bean PW, which is the location of the Tampa Airport Marriot.
In speaking to the Tampa police this afternoon, we are told the firearm in question was a Glock 9 MM.
Runnels, 52, portrayed Marlena during her run in WWF, managing Goldust before using her given name over an eight year. She won the WWE Hardcore title briefly and worked with a number of talents and also worked as a TV host for the company. Before WWE, she appeared as Alexandra York in WCW.
Runnels is currently incarcerated, being held on a $2,000.00 bond.
Update: Runnels was bonded out at 1 PM this afternoon.
