During a media call to promote Starrcast this afternoon, Ric Flair's son-in-law Conrad Thompson said that Ric Flair underwent a scheduled surgery today and that while he appreciates the concern, it is not nearly as serious as the TMZ.com story has made the situation out to be.
Thompson made it clear that this was a procedure that Flair needed and made the decision to have it before his trip to Las Vegas as opposed to waiting until after the gathering.
Thompson said that he would not comment further and said that was for Ric and his wife to decide to comment on his medical details.
