When you look at the regression from 2021 to now for Dynamite, using the same time period for comparison, if you were negotiating the new TV from the WBD end would you be in a rush to get it done? Why pay for 700,000 viewers a week now when it could be 600,000 in three months? It's not like is "buying on the dip". The is a progressive move downward.
I truly hope Tony Khan gets the message and addresses his main problem, the booking. Sure, it works for the sect of fans that are still there, but it sure doesn't from the almost 400,000 that have left since 2021. The industry needs Tony Khan and we need AEW healthy. I really wish the talking heads who tell him everything is great would start being honest with him about the state of his company. He doesn't listen to me but he, at least sometimes, listens to them. Do the right thing Uncle Dave.
WBD has 703,000 reasons (and 0.24 more) to wait on giving @TonyKhan a new TV deal. 5/3/23 show did 776,000 viewers and a 0.28 in the demo. 5/10/23 did 877,000 viewers/0.32. There is no need for WBD to rush with the company backsliding. Fix the booking Tony. That's the issue.
