1 - Boltin Oleg vs. Katsuya Murashima
Oleg pins Murashima after a Kamikaze Slam.
2 - Tiger Mask, Togi Makabe and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. TAKA Michinoku, Yuya Uemura and Taichi
Uemura pins Tiger Mask after a Flying Body Press.
3 - Kosei Fujita, Shane Haste, Mikey Nichols and Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Callum Newman, Francesco Akira, Great O-Khan and Jeff Cobb
ZSJ forces Newman to tap out to a cross arm breaker.
Jeff Cobb and ZSJ had words after the match. They will face each other for the NJPW Television Championship this Friday at Wrestling Dontaku 2024 Night 1.
4 - Jado, El Desperado, Shota Umino, El Phantasmo and Hikuleo vs. Dick Togo, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Yujiro Takahashi, Ren Narita and EVIL
Narita pins Jado after hitting him with his push up bar.
Umino goes after Narita but he escapes to the locker room.
Narita has been getting victories as he heads into his match against Jon Moxley. Hopefully, either Narita or Umino will have the World Title after May 11.
5 - Tomoaki Honma, YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto vs. Taiji Ishimori, Chase Owens and KENTA
Honma tried to headbutt KENTA but KENTA was holding the IWGP Tag Title belt. Honma hit the belt and knocked himself silly. KENTA follows with a Psycho Knee.
KENTA pins Honma.
KENTA and Owen try to attack Bishomon after the match, but Tag Champs fight them off. Both teams will meet on May 4 for the IWGP Tag Championship.
6 - Yota Tsuji, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito vs. Gedo, Gabe Kidd and David Finlay
Tsuji pins Gedo after a Curb Stomp.
Kidd screams at each other after the match, while Takagi mocks him. Finlay drags Kidd back to the locker.
Shingo Takagi vs. Gabe Kidd will be a good match on Wrestling Dontaku Night 2.
7 - IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: BUSHI and Hiromu Takahashi vs. Drilla Moloney and Clark Conners
War Dogs took the advantage when Moloney picked up HIromu for powerbomb on the apron. Conners and Moloney hit a Spear/Chop Block on Hiromu on the floor. Hiromu is almost counted out. Hiromu fights back with chops. BUSHI tags in and attacks Conner's knee. He applies the Ashiroad, which is a reverse figure four leg lock, but Conners gets to the ropes. Conners hits a Jeep Flip on BUSHI. Both tag in their partners. Hiromu dazzles with his aerial moves. Moloney hits a suplex. Hiromu with a facebuster. (Moloney could not keep up with Hiromu.) Mid-ring collision drops everyone.
BUSHI traps Conners in a Ashiroad. Hiromu grads a triangle choke on Moloney. Moloney picks up HIromu and drops him on BUSHI. All four men battle in the ring. They trade superkicks. Lots of two counts. BUSHI goes for MX but Conners hits a spear. BUSHI with BUSHI Roll on Conners. Moloney picks up BUSHI and hits a Drilla Killa. Wow! Hiromu breaks the count. Conner with No Chaser on Hiromu. War Dogs hit Full Clip on BUSHI.
Conners pins BUSHI.
War Dogs retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championsip.
LIJ were the bump machines for the stronger War Dogs. There were points in the match where Conners and Moloney were not able to keep up with the Lucha moves of LIJ. This is might be a concern heading into Best of the Super Juniors. Conners is favoring his knee. Moloney was grabbing his neck.
8 - IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: DOUKI vs. SHO
SHO complained that Taichi was at ringside doing commentary. DOUKI held up the contract that SHO signed. SHO grabbed the contract and tried to eat it. DOUKI attacked him and the referee started the match. The battled to the floor. SHO throws a young lion into DOUKI's leg. DOUKI clutches his knee. They fight into the crowd and SHO hits DOUKI's leg with a chair. DOUKI is almost counted out. SHO attacks DOUKI's leg using stomps and submissions. Massive crowd support for DOUKI. DOUKI fights back with a knee breaker. DOUKI traps SHO in a modified figure four.
Kanemaru hits the ring. Dick Togo attacks Taichi and hand cuffs him to a guardrail. . Kanemaru allows SHO to escape the hold, while grabbing the referee. Kanemaru tries to attack DOUKI, but DOUKI hits a suplex. SHO hits a low blow on DOUKI and pushes him into the referee who takes a bump to the floor. Togo stomps on DOUKI. TAKA and Uemura hit the ring. EVIL and Yujiro come into the ring. House of Torture lays out Just Five Guys. They hit DOUKI with another low blow. SHO covers DOUKI as they roll the referee in the ring. DOUKI kicks out.
SHO hits a Power Breaker. Two count. SHO goes for a cross arm piledriver, but DOUKI reverses into the Italian Stretch No. 32. SHO reverses back into a cross arm piledriver. DOUKI kicks out. SHO goes for Shock Arrow but DOUKI reverses back into the Italian Stretch No. 32. SHO goes for the ropes, but DOUKI rolls him back into the middle of the ring. Togo rings the bell. DOUKI thinks he won but the referee tells him that he did not call for the bell.
EVIL hits DOUKI who bumps into the referee who goes to the floor. House of Torture stomp again on DOUKI. Taichi gets free from the hand cuffs, and Just 5 Guys take out House of Torture.
DOUKI and SHO are alone in the ring. SHO goes for his wrench. DOUKI pulls out a clean metal pipe. SHO screams for the referee who is still on the floor. DOUKI uses the metal pipe to hit Doton No Jutsu (Gory Neckbreaker). Another referee gets to the ring. DOUKI with an airplane spin into a slam. Two count. Crowd is chanting loudly for DOUKI. DOUKI hits Suplex de La Luna. Kanemaru pulls the referee out of the ring. Kanemaru tries for the Suntori Suprise, but DOUKI chops him in the throat.
Ren Narita runs to ringside. Narita hits DOUKI with the push up bar and plants him with a Double Cross. He puts a dazed SHO on top of DOUKI. Narita drags the referee in the ring.
SHO pins DOUKI.
SHO retains the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.
Ren Narita continues to stand tall and look strong ahead of his match with Jon Moxley. It would make sense for Narita to win the World Title for the House of Torture, as the hot heel group. The top babyface, either Shota Umino or Tetsuya Naito can chase the title from G1 Climax to Wrestle Kingdom. Narita will have to look strong and a legitimate threat in the G1.
