While Monday Night Raw is going to Netflix in January 2025, it will complete this year on The USA Network, airing through the end of December 2024 as part of a new deal with NBC Universal.
WWE revealed that information as part of their First Quarter 2024 Earnings, which were just released. The deal was worth $25 million for the quarter.
Raw had been expected to exit The USA Network this Fall.
Instead, both Raw and Friday Night Smackdown will be on the USA Network weekly from September 2024 through the end of the year. That will obviously help promote Smackdown's leap back to cable when it exits FOX this Fall.
The new deal will also prevent WWE from having to redirect fans to another broadcast/streaming destination for several months before then having to direct them over to Netflix when Raw jumps there officially at the onset of 2025. This new deal will obviously simplify matters for all involved - NBC Universal, WWE and WWE's viewers.
