After watching Ric Flair's podcast with Austin and this week the Network aired the Goldberg episode of the Monday Night Wars. Flair said he's wrestled pretty much everyone and they mention Goldberg beat everyone. But did Goldberg and Flair ever wrestle eachother?
Yes, they wrestled on WCW Monday Nitro in 1999 and likely elsewhere as well. It may already be available on the WWE Network.
I haven't watched Smackdown in the last 6 months and just watching it tonight. Is Jerry Lawler a heel commentator now? It just feels weird listening to him after 15 years of being face. What do you guys think?
Yes. It's not weird to me, since I grew up watching Jerry playing a heel at various points over his career in Memphis and even in his early WWF run, he was an excelent heel. It was something done to freshen him up so there aren't three babyface announcers calling the show.
Will we ever see a 40-man Royal Rumble match again?
It's possible, but if WWE wanted to keep that idea going, they would have.
When the RKO out of nowhere Vine videos first came out, what was your reaction to them?
I thought they were a great idea. I can never knock fan ingenuity. It gave Randy Orton some crossover attention when they went viral. That's always a good thing. WWE must agree, since the "RKO Outta Nowhere" videos led to them releasing a t-shirt celebrating the term.
Someone recently asked about Scott Steiner. What about his brother Rick Steiner? Whatever happened to him?
Rick is living in Georgia and occasionally makes appearances but for the most part is working in the real estate world. His son Bronson recently won a State wrestling championship in Georgia.
