If you didn’t see Daniel Bryan’s retirement speech from last night’s Raw, you really need to go out of your way to watch it.  It was an amazing show of grace by one of the truly great people to step inside of a wrestling ring.  Bryan made gratitude a central theme of his speech and I have to echo it here, but back at him.  Thank you Brian Danielson for all that you gave the business.  I appreciate everything you have done and your contribution will not ever be forgotten.  I wish you the best of luck in whatever your future holds.

Also, kudos to WWE for giving Bryan the opportunity and the time to speak.  It was extremely classy all around.

WWE has posted a photo gallery of pictures taken after Raw went off the air.  You can watch it at this link.

About half of the roster is on its way to Germany for a tour that starts tomorrow and runs through Saturday, so the whole crew won’t be at Smackdown.  If you are going to any of the shows and can send a report, please drop me a line.

Jerry Lawler tweeted the following: "Supporting @realDonaldTrump like I do is great. Getting out to vote for him even better! Vote today NH! #FITN #TrumpTrain".

WWE’s Scott Stanford has been nominated for  New York Emmy Award in the category of Best Sports Anchor for his work on Channel 11, WPIX in New York City.

Paul Jordan sent word that The WWE Network is promoting that the Steve Austin Podcast returns next Monday, after Raw, with The Big Show as the guest.
