UFC fighter Mickey Gall made his debut tonight during the UFC Fight Night Prelims tonight in Las Vegas, winning a fight to earn the chance to face former WWE champion Phil "CM Punk" Brooks in his own UFC debut at UFC 199 later this year. Here is the recap of Gall's fight:

Round One
The round begins with Jackson dancing around Gall while throwing jabs, Gall drops Jackson with a right and he instantly gets back control. Gall locks in the rear naked choke and a tap out follows.
Fight Result: Mickey Gall def. Mike Jackson by submission via rear naked choke (0:45, R1)
They did a face off between Gall and Punk in the Octagon with matchmaker Joe Silva. Gall and Punk shook hands and that was it. Punk did a pre-fight and post-fight interview. He did not really say much other than he hopes to finish Gall as quickly as Gall finished Jackson.
