STROWMAN VS. UNDERTAKER, SYTCH'S FILM, WWE/JETSONS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2016-02-04 10:00:00

What are your thoughts on the Tammy Sytch adult movie?

No thoughts. I have no interest in seeing the film.

I am seeing that you guys reporting Undertaker vs. Braun Strowman is locked in for Wrestlemania. Are they really going to give THAT to fans in a 100,000 seats stadium?

Nothing is ever "locked in" when you are talking about producing live TV. Vince McMahon, as I said in my Elite audio yesterday, can change his mind on a dime. They can learn that Seth Rollins or John Cena will make a miracle recovery and change plans. Someone else can come in and take off like a rocket and suddenly Vince decides it should be Undertaker vs. AJ Styles or something. What I said on my audio was that as of Monday, this what the creative was building towards and that things can change but it was where they were. Things change at the last second all the time. WWE changes plans when guys are standing in the gorilla position. Even last year, the decision to put the WWE title on Seth Rollins wasn't locked in until the day before. The decision to end the Undertaker streak was made the day of. Nothing is ever concrete but as of Monday, that was the match that was being discussed and talked about. Since then, as we noted on Tuesday, we have heard there are other plans in play.  Where we are come March, we will see.

Any update on Blackjack Mulligan?

The fear on Monday was that he had suffered a massive heart attack. Mulligan noted on Facebook he is having issues with blood clots. Neither he nor anyone in his family has made any sort of public statement since.  We wish him and the rest of the Windham family the best.

I often see that in This Day in History, you mention ECW in the headlines. Do you ever think you give too much attention to ECW?

No, because we mention TNA, Smoky Mountain, Jim Crockett Promotions, etc. just as much. Historically, ECW had huge influence and there was a time period where it was the most entertaining wrestling product in America. To not spotlight it's importance would be wrong, just as it would be to ignore Memphis, AWA, etc.

Where's the WWE/Jetsons movie?

Still in production. The script is completed but a second WWE-Scooby Doo film has to be completed first.
