NEW JAPAN STAR WITH WWE'S INTEREST SIGNS NEW DEAL WITH NJPW

Rocky Romero, who WWE had been interested in of late, has signed a new deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling. ProWrestlingSheet.com first reported the story, citing that Romero has signed a two year deal with NJPW.

PWInsider.com has independently confirmed that Romero signed a new deal (but not the length). We are told by WWE sources that Romero was scheduled to travel next week to the WWE Performance Center but that is no longer scheduled as they were informed he will be remaining with NJPW.
