WWE have applied to trademark "American Alpha", for use as a gimmick name.
In what should make The Young Bucks and Bullet Club happy, the "too sweet" hand gesture that WWE was trying to trademark in March this year has been abandoned due to WWE not responding within the 6-month time period allowed to a USPTO inquiry sent in June. If the delay was unintentional, they can petition to revive the application or they can request a reinstatement if it was an error on USPTO's part. They have until February 29th, 2016 to make a decision.
