WCW RUNNING MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, A FOLEY IN-RING RETURN, WWE HQ ON X-MAS AND MORE

Why do you think the WWE hasn't put 80s stars like King Kong Bundy, Brutus Beefcake, Hillbilly Jim, Mike Rotundo, Demolition, British Bulldogs, Jim Neidhart, Killer Bees in their Hall of Fame yet? I remember these wrestlers being a big part of my childhood every Saturday Morning. Any heat between any of them?

I think each case is unique. Rotunda works full-time for the company, so there isn't any personal animosity there. Others, like Neidhart and Jim have connections to the company. Others haven't had their time yet. Still others have personal issues that have prevented them from being inducted. Not all of them will ever make it to the Hall, but give it time for the others.

I've read that Pat Patterson is usually the man in charge of booking finishes in Royal Rumbles. So, is he the one to blame for the ridiculous ending of the 1993 Rumble that saw Randy Savage attempting to pin Yokozuna and being bench-pressed over the top rope? Not only did this look extremely fake (with Savage having to jump on his own to scale the top rope), but it also made him look stupid for attempting to pin a guy in the Royal Rumble match. Any info that you might havgo bae on this stupid finish would be greatly appreciated.

Undoutedly, Patterson was involved in the finish but the final say often came to Vince McMahon. It could be that Savage called the spot as a way to put over the strength of Yokozuna.

Why did WCW never run Madison Square Garden?

They did run the adjacent Paramount Theater but could not run the main MSG arena due to a non-compete WWE had with the venue when they were running it on a monthly basis.

I know this is an odd question, but does WWE HQ close for Christmas?

While I am sure they have people on hand in case there is an emergency, the majority of those who work in the HQ are off for Christmas, as they would be for any other job.

Do you think Mick Foley will ever have a final wrestling match?

My gut is that we've seen Mick's final match and that's for a very good reason. It wouldn't be advisable from a health standpoint for him to get in the ring and take bumps. WWE would never clear him and doing anything else certainly isn't worth the reward that would come with the risk. In my opinion, Mick's done his time in the ring and should never be back in a match ever again.
