Would it be a good idea to assign writers to certain wrestlers in WWE? Each writer gets 10 wrestlers each, and they work on feuds and matches for each of them for a month a time, PPV to PPV, or even longer. They can get together when their guys are feuding together and has out a month (or longer) of TV’s and angles that make sense and all have purpose. They could both keep their guys as strong as they could, and the talent would have a go to guy in creative to discuss things with.  Creative could then report their idea’s for their guys (sometime joint ideas) to the McMahons to produce on TV?
In order for that to work, Vince McMahon would have to be receptive to the idea and embrace it. Until that happens, and he stops being the guy that continues to set the course for the company, it doesn’t matter.
Considering how most NXT Talents are doing once they're called up to the main roster (see : Adam Rose, The Ascension, Neville, Becky Lynch, Bo Dallas, the latest case being Tyler Breeze... it's a non-exhaustive list), does WWE stands to them for Wrecked and Wasted Expectations ? Is it why some of them cry when they leave NXT ? Your thoughts ?
That is pretty funny. I will say that not everyone that comes up from NXT can be a top of the card guy but you are absolutely right, Vince McMahon has used the NXT talent very poorly. I feel sorry for them, and for Triple H. They all deserve better.
I know that they are both old and very prone to injuries, but do you think we will ever get see Sting vs The Undertaker? I think at least the promo will be interesting storyline-wise.
I think Sting has to have his surgery and get himself healthy before he can even think of working again. If it ends up he has spinal stenosis, he should never wrestle again.
I haven't watched TNA in many years, but I saw that Eric Young is in the running for the championship. I remember him mostly as the comedy guy who used to be scared of his own pyro, so I find it really hard to picture him as a credible champion, should he win. It would be like if WWE made Santino the champ when he was around. I wonder if you, who is familiar with the current TNA, looks at Eric Young the same was as I do? Also, do you think comedy guys in WWE like New Day run the risk of not being taken seriously if Vince one day decides to push them into title contention?
You really haven’t been following TNA because he WAS the champion in 2014. After he got a show on Animal Planet, TNA tried to use that exposure to move him up the card. But yes, as you mention when you give a guy a comedic gimmick, like pulling his pants off in the ring, it definitely makes it harder for him to be taken seriously down the road.
In today's PG era, should it concern WWE that the "Hey...we want some Bayley" chants are obviously derived from a rather lewd song by the 2 Live Crew? Or does it not concern them since they believe the majority of the young audience will likely not draw the connection between the chant and the rap song from the 90's?
Well I am older and I didn’t know that so I doubt WWE is worried about kids making the connection.
