SHOULD DANIEL BRYAN RETURN TO THE RING, WILL WE SEE A TRIPLE H RETURN, WWE’S THIN ROSTER AND MORE

Regarding Daniel Bryan changing his style if he were to return, what specifically do you think he should change?  Should he go to a more mat-based submission style (similar to William Regal, for example)?  Should he lean towards more of a Japanese striking style using different variations of kicks?  Should he eliminate high risk moves altogether, especially the diving headbutt and the suicide dive to the outside?  Or would you recommend he not change a thing (ie. if it ain't broke, don't fix it), with the understanding that his time in the ring may be cut short based on his style?

Honestly, if a doctor told me at his age that I already am showing signs of brain problems due to my repeated concussions, I would retire. I admire Edge so much for what he did. When he was told he was risking paralysis by bumping, he immediately did the responsible thing and retired, putting his quality of life first. I think if that is the position Bryan is in, he should too. Even if he is cleared, he now has a history of brain trauma. Sure, he should stop doing any head butt type of move, but he would still be prone to concussions from basic moves. I completely understand why WWE is hesitant to reinstate him.

Saw the comments about Bryan changing style.  Do you think he could really get over again if he incorporated more of his martial arts/ufc inspired moves and elaborated on more styles of kicks, punches, types of movements to reflect the more recent martial art films?  He's extremely flexible, and it would minimize on the high jumping spots and offer an a very hard style (though could be stepping in on Hideo's gimmick, too)?

I think he is already over. If he comes back, he will be over. He could definitely work that style as well. My fears are as stated above however. He is a young man with a family. I hope he takes that into consideration with any decision that he makes, especially when you consider that he did actually make it to the top in WWE.

Renee Young and Kyle Edwards got their start on a show called Aftermath, a Canadian talk show featuring Jimmy Korderas.  Many Canadian fans have been following their careers long before they got hired by WWE, but i'm curious how many Americans are aware of this show.  Are you familiar with Aftermath, and if so, do you think current host Jackie Redmond would be a great hire for WWE?  She has all the potential to be the next Renee Young, ie. someone who can do interviews and host her own shows on the Network.

I am familiar with it but I highly doubt most Americans are since we don’t have a way to watch it. I don’t know anything about Redmond but after Googling her, she is obviously pretty enough.

I understand that in today's sports and entertainment climate that head injuries and concussions are THE hot button issue and with good reason, but why won't WWE give Daniel Bryan the green light to return to the ring? From all accounts Bryan has been cleared by a highly respected neurologist that works with the NFL, and Bryan has made it clear that he would pursue wrestling again even if its not with WWE. Is it a fear of a lawsuit that gives WWE trepidation? If so, couldn't they come up with a contract with Bryan where he would agree not to pursue legal action against WWE if something were to happen? If Bryan is going to find a way to wrestle, why leave the money he draws on the table for someone else to grab?

Why? Ok, let’s say third match back, Bryan takes a routine bump and gets concussed, or God forbid worse. WWE will not have liability but they will also have to explain why, after refusing to clear him, they did a 180 and it ended up being a poor, poor decision. Here’s the think about concussions and CTE, the effects come later. Bryan could be lucent and thinking clearly now, but then deteriorate badly as time goes on. If WWE allowed him to go wrestle elsewhere because they feel they are trying to do what is best for him and his health, I would respect them immensely for it.

I apologise for yet another question about WWE's thin roster, but what do you guys think about bringing Triple H back into a in ring role for an extended run from the Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania? I mean he would only wrestle the PPV's but I'd love to see him go up against Roman Reigns and have the rubber match at Wrestlemania.

I am mixed. Part of WWE’s problem is their reliance on older stars and not creating newer ones. With that said, they haven’t created newer ones and they need star power for their biggest show of the year. So I don’t think it matters how we feel about it, they have no choice but to make Triple H part of the WrestleMania product.
