NXT - my first live WWE event, having just been to a couple of ICW ones before.
Very different crowd to the one for ICW a couple of weeks ago (under 18s and all seated, and does feel like I'll be able to speak and not get beaten by drunk Scots for being English (semi-joke)). ICW's Mark Dallas, Jack Jester & Joe Coffey in the crowd, no doubt on a talent scout...
We open with video of HHH welcoming us to NXT.
Enzo & Cass (with Carmella) defeat Blake & Murphy
Crowd loves Enzo & co. Fun match
Lots of pics and interaction with crowd afterwards.
Announcer seemed a bit unsure of the 1 fall shout at intro of matches - he should start watching ICW... Then he'd know.
Bull Dempsey defeats Tye Dillinger (crowd really making the most of his 10 gimmick)
Long comedy intro which crowd enjoyed.
Bull with win after coming from the top rope. (And eating the number 10 after)
Lots of boos for the TLC promo then shouted over by NXT chants.
Asuka (huge pop) defeats Alexa Bliss
Crowd bit quiet during this one (comparatively)
Quite physical
Creative chanting from the guys behind me (again)

Neville (massive pop) defeats Baron Corbin
Feel a bit outnumbered as a Corbin fan here...
Looked like a nasty bump for Neville after thrown over top and hit head on apron. Seems ok though.
Big charge into steps swapped momentum of match. We had a couple or red arrow teases before Neville flipped out of end of days, then hit the red arrow for the win.
Another TLC promo drowned out by booing then NXT chants...
William Regal is here, comes to ringside and says thanks, sounds quite choked up.
NXT champs Dawson & Wilder retain title against Jordan & Gable
My second favorite match of the night. Jordan & Gable over big time.
Jordan seemed to love the chanting from my section, huge smiles & almost disbelief throughout the match at the noise being sent his way.
Really great and entertaining match with champs retaining with a fistful of the tights.
Women's championship
Bayley defeats Emma (with Dana Brooke) to retain women's title.
Everyone loves Bayley. Really really loves her.
Bayley and cameraman both lapping up the atmosphere throughout match, with the cameraman struggling to stay composed due to the various innovative Bayley chants - including the festive 12 days of Bayley & do they know it's Bayley time...
The group behind me mean nothing else can be heard! Dana ejected due to interference before we got a Bayley to Belly for the win.
Nia Jax interrupts the celebration. Points at belt then walks off again.
Another look from announcer to ref at the one fall chant not seeming to know why it's so loud and done. They all seem to be enjoying the noise of the crowd.
Samoa Joe defeats Apollo Crews.
Some stiff shots, seemed a bit slow after the energy in previous bout and quieter crowd.
Joe wins with muscle buster. Crews did some very impressive athletic moves for a man his size.
Thanks from announcer for being a fantastic crowd.
Main event time...
Finn Balor (entering to lots of ICW chants, which he acknowledged and thanked) defeats Sammy Zayn (also entering to a huge pop)
Handshake to start the match.
Great tension throughout, properly building the story as they go.
Balor gave a "its yersel" shout (I think), to which crowd went into Madonna's Like a Prayer.
Best match of night. Brilliant stuff. Balor wins with coup de grace, handshake again at the end with Zane raising Balor's hand before leaving the ring to him.
Really fantastic and entertaining show with no bad matches. My crowd reactions might be off due to the incredibly vocal group behind me, who did come out with some very funny stuff but kept it all about the wrestling and not about themselves.
