Confetti is falling from the ceiling and The New Day makes their way to the ring that is adorned with red carpet.
Big E, Kofi, and Xavier stop dancing before Big E starts talking. He says he knows what you are thinking. Whose birthday is it?
Xavier points out it is Naomi’s birthday.
Big E says it is not about a birthday, it is about a New Day.
Kofi says tonight is a celebration. There is a party going on. It is a festival. It is a gala. Big E tells everyone what a gala is. Xavier says it is a jubilee. Kofi tells Big E he is sweating too much. Xavier gives Big E a Terrible Towel. Xavier says he got it from some Steelers fans.
Big E towels down with the Terrible Towel and then he blows his nose, but he does not go down the singlet. Xavier throws it into the crowd.
Kofi points out that the fans chanting is why the Steelers lost on Sunday.
Big E says it is a new day, a new beginning, and a new champion. It is time to put your hands together and give a warm New Day welcome to that Irish jigging, Brogue Kicking, Mohawk wearing, shamrock shakin’, championship taking, ginger giant.
They bring out Sheamus
Sheamus makes his way to the ring and he has a suit on.
Sheamus says he is so proud to be the WWE World Champion. Sheamus thanks the New Day for the introduction.
Sheamus says the only people who look stupid are all of you. Sheamus says he is the WWE Champion. Sheamus says the New Day’s attitude and personality are infectious. Big E says it is just like the water in Pittsburgh.
Sheamus says he would like to thank the New Day as well as the Authority. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, a couple who taught them a great life lesson. When opportunity comes, you put on your best suit, open that door and say ‘How’s it going fella’.
Kofi says that if you are hard headed, opportunity leaves.
Sheamus wants to thank the man who made this all possible. Sheamus wants to thank Roman Reigns.
Kofi asks how long was Roman the champion. Xavier says they missed Roman being champion.
Sheamus says if Roman Reigns had accepted Triple H’s handshake, he would not be wearing this title belt. Sheamus says this looks so much better on him. Sheamus does a little dancing. He says he owes Roman Reigns so much. If you were not down on your knees savoring every moment of achieving your lifetime dream, he would have seen Sheamus coming. He Brogue Kicked your head off after Five Minutes and Fifteen Seconds.
The New Day laugh at the length of Roman Reigns’ title run.
Sheamus says that Roman’s title reign can only be measured by a microscope. You can forget about your Austin 3:16 because Sheamus 5:15 says I just kicked your arse.
Sheamus celebrates in the ring as pyro goes off in the building and Roman Reigns hits Sheamus with a Superman Punch.
Reigns picks up the title belt and leaves the ring with it.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a recap of what happened after the New Day left the ring when Roman Reigns stole the WWE Title belt and has now held the title belt longer than he was champion.
The Usos are with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose in the back as they want to hold the title belt.
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H stop by and Hunter says that Roman has something that does not belong to him. Roman says it looks good where it is. Stephanie says they are not in the mood so she wants what is hers back.
Roman tells Stephanie to tell Magic Mohawk that he will get the belt back in two weeks.
Hunter says that Magic Mohawk does not want to wait and he wants to defend the title tonight.
Roman likes the idea so Hunter tells Roman the match is on. Stephanie says that in order to win the title, he will have to beat Sheamus in under five minutes and fifteen seconds.
Match Number One: Tyler Breeze (with Summer Rae) versus Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler with a take down and rollup for a near fall. Ziggler with a hammer lock and rollup for a near fall. Breeze with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Ziggler with leap frogs and Breeze with a drop kick for a near fall. Breeze kicks and punches Ziggler and connects with a shoulder in the corner. Breeze with a snap mare and leg drop for a near fall.
Breeze gets another near fall. Breeze with a front face lock. Ziggler gets to his feet but Breeze sends Ziggler back to the mat. Ziggler with a rollup for a near fall. Ziggler misses a super kick and Breeze with a rollup for a near fall. Breeze misses a splash into the corner and then Ziggler misses a running shoulder into the corner and hits the ring post before going to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Breeze with a front face lock on Ziggler. Ziggler with a jawbreaker and elbow followed by clotheslines and a Stinger splash and neck breaker. Ziggler with a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Ziggler sets for Sweet Chin Music but Breeze moves and Breeze with a rollup. Ziggler goes for the Fameasser but Breeze tries to counter with a power bomb and Ziggler escapes. Breeze gets a near fall.
Breeze punches Ziggler in the corner and the referee pulls him out of the corner. Breeze with kicks and punches in the corner. Ziggler has a super kick blocked and then Breeze catapults Ziggler into the ring post and gets a near fall. Breeze with a rolling back breaker to the injured arm and he gets a near fall. Ziggler kicks Breeze away but Breeze with punches and a drop kick to the knee.
Ziggler sends Breeze to the apron and Breeze comes back into the ring and blocks a super kick. Ziggler counters the Unprettier with a back slide and a near fall. Ziggler with a sunset flip for a near fall. They go back and forth with near falls. Ziggler with an O’Connor Roll for a near fall and Breeze rolls through and gets a near fall. Ziggler with a super kick for the three count.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
We go to commercial and Rusev is in the back with Lana and they will be on MizTV when we come back.
We are back and Miz is in the ring with Rusev, but he is not with the person who was with him before the commercial break.
Miz says that Rusev looks like he is back with a vengeance. He asks Rusev he must have hated being at home watching the tournament . . .
Rusev interrupts and he says watching Raw last month . . .
The crowd chants for Lana and Rusev says that you all want Lana, but Lana is his. He says that she is his wife so shut up.
Rusev says sitting at home injured, the WWE Universe did not care about Rusev. There were no Get Well Rusev cards. There were no strawberries with chocolate on them. There was only one person who was there for him. One person who nursed him back to health. One person who would do anything for Rusev. Rusev wants that person to join them in the ring.
Lana makes her way to the ring.
Miz says he cannot believe his eyes. Lana and Rusev in the same place at the same time. This is what MizTV is all about. They have been through it all.
Lana says this is the happiest day of her life.
Miz says this is wild. After all of the insults you have traded back and forth and all of the people you were with, you made Summer Rae, Lana 2.0. Miz stops and asks what brought them back together.
Lana says that when Rusev asked her to spend the rest of their lives together, all was forgiven. They fight hard, but love harder. They saw what was out there and it only made their love stronger. For the record, she never went all the way with Dolph.
The Pittsburgh crowd disagrees with Lana.
Lana says her heart belongs to Rusev. He is her Bulgarian Sunshine.
Rusev says he did not go all the way with Summer. He says he may have broken her heart, but that was about it. He will not only break the spirit of his opponents, he will break their bodies. He says his heart belongs to Lana.
They kiss until Ryback’s music plays.
Ryback says we have all seen enough of this garbage. He says that he heard the Zig Man went all the way. In Pittsburgh, we believe in Smash Mouth. This is not an episode of Teen Wolf, this is Monday Night Raw and the Big Guy is hungry.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Rusev (with Lana) versus Ryback
The match is joined in progress and Rusev with kicks in the corner. Rusev sends Ryback into the turnbuckles and punches Ryback. Ryback with a Thesz Press and he slams Rusev’s head into the mat. Ryback with shoulders in the corner. Rusev with an Irish whip but Ryback with a boot and then he goes to the turnbuckles for a missile drop kick and Rusev goes to the floor.
Ryback goes to the floor and hits shoulders against the ringside barrier. Rusev punches Ryback and then Ryback runs Rusev into the ring steps and it knocks Lana down. Ryback gets back into the ring and Rusev is going to go into the ring but he sees Lana on the floor and he gets counted out.
Winner: Ryback (by count out)
After the match, Rusev helps Lana to the back and he has something to say to Ryback.
Triple H is in his office and Dean Ambrose stops by to check on what Hunter is doing with his phone. Hunter congratulates Dean for winning the Triple Threat match on Smackdown to earn an Intercontinental Title Match at TLC.
Dean does not believe that is all he wanted to say.
Hunter tells Dean that if Roman cannot win in under five minutes and fifteen seconds, not only does Roman lose his title match, Dean loses his title match. Roman’s choices do not affect only him, but his friends.
The Dudleys make their way to the ring and they have tables.
