WILL WWE DANIEL BRYAN-ING ROMAN REIGNS WORK, WHY THE END OF THE SURVIVOR SERIES POINTS OUT WWE’S CREATIVE PROBLEMS, BAD TASTE IN WRESTLING AND MORE

Should Sheamus have been involved in the main event Sunday night?  The best we could have hoped for was either an injured and depleted winner of the title match beating a fresh Sheamus,  or continuing the drawn out Reigns title chase. Your thoughts?

They did it to try and get sympathy on Roman from the fans. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t. But, given it got the Money In The Bank briefcase out of the way, and also given that WWE is going into it’s slowest time of the year, it isn’t terrible. If they have Reigns win it before The Royal Rumble, Sheamus gets a small run during the slowest period of the year and then loses it when the busiest time of the year heats up. I don’t see Sheamus as anything more than a transitional champ.

Even though we all probably knew the outcomes of every match on the card, it was a not too terrible show. And I was so glad to see Ambrose and Reigns embracing after the match, not going the cheap route and turning on each other. But my question to you is, do you think they are trying "Daniel Bryan" Roman Reigns? I see a lot of parallels to what they did with DB; it seems a little bit of a repetition with Reigns. Your opinion?

They are definitely trying to do that with him, pit him as the guy screwed by The Authority. Whether it will work or not remains to be seen.

Ok, clearly Sheamus cashing in his MITB after Reigns wins the big one is an exact copy of when the same happened to DB. They’ve done this hoping they get the same level of crowd support for Roman that they had (unintentionally) for Daniel Bryan when he was screwed. It won’t happen. Do they think we’re stupid? This happened like 2 years ago. Is creative (Vince) really so uncreative that they couldn’t think of another way to end this? What a waste of a title tournament - the guy that got knocked out first round ends up as champion *facepalm*

I don’t know if Vince thinks we are stupid so much as I think he has run out of new, fresh ideas. I too hate that the guy who got knocked out came back and won. Speaking of recycled storylines, Seth Rollins just did the same thing at WrestleMania earlier this year. He lost to Randy Orton then cashed in during the main event. It is representative of why WWE has the problem that they have.

Why on earth was/is there so much backlash for this Reid Flair thing, when Paige is a friggin' HEEL!? She's SUPPOSED to do and say things that make people (and ESPECIALLY the wrestler(s) she's feuding with) get upset and lose their focus. Heels do bad things; that's their job.

Some people feel as you do. Others, like me, feel that there should be a line of decency where things are off limits. To people like us, bringing up the name of a person that died far too young is outside the bounds of good taste. To you, it’s not.

Is it true that the WWE has given “Ceiling Cards” to its wrestlers? The card tells the wrestler the furthest that he/she will ever get while on the main roster. I am having a hard time believing this because if you are given a “mid card” ceiling card, what incentive do you have to go out and give your best performance, knowing you won’t get any higher?

No, it’s not. Wow, who would even report something like that? I could see it now. “Hi there Cesaro, you will never get higher than third match from the top!”
