VINCE MCMAHON AND KEVIN DUNN, WASTING ALBERTO DEL RIO’S RETURN, COULD CESARO END UP ON AN ALL TIME GREAT LIST AND MORE

How come WWE doesn't run PPVs in other countries?  I remember a Summerslam in England.

In a nutshell, it’s the time difference. Their primary market is in the United States and they want the shows to be accessible to their fans in the US. If a show starts at 8 p.m. in the UK, it’s 3 p.m. on the east coast and noon on the West Coast. That doesn’t work for them.

What do you think is the legacy of Ahmed Johnson? He was the IC Champion when I started watching wrestling but quickly fizzled after he joined his rivals the Nation of Domination. He later showed up in WCW and it was what it was.

He was a big, strong guy that a lot of guys didn’t want to be in the ring with because he wasn’t a great worker. The art of the business is to have a match and make it look like you were hurting someone while not doing it. He got the first part right. The second? Not so much.

It seems as if though Vince McMahon listens to Kevin Dunn more often than Triple H when it comes to creative booking. My question is why did Dunn got so much creative power in the WWE?

That isn’t true. Vince listens to himself where booking is concerned. Where presentation of his vision is concerned, Dunn is his right hand man. They cut their teeth together and Vince trusts him to put his product on the air as he wants it to be. Vince trusts Kevin Dunn the way that I trust Mike Johnson. It is perfectly understandable.

Do you find it as bizarre as I do that WWE went to all the expense to bring Del Rio back and have done absolutely nothing notable with him since winning the title? Nothing but meaningless matches and directionless Zeb promos? The night after HIAC I would have liked to have seen a Cesaro/Ziggler - someone of that mold - cut a promo about working their arse off night after night only for ADR to waltz back in and get a title shot on day one (I know it was an open challenge, but they've rewrote logic for much less). It's an instant, simple feud that fans can engage with.

Bizarre is a good word. They brought ADR and had him beat John Cena, then went into total de-push mode. I get that Seth Rollins got hurt and all, but they could have done so much more with Alberto’s win over Cena. They could have made it matter. Now, he is just another guy. Again.

How good is Cesaro!? A cartwheel off the top rope like he’s a cruiserweight!! I know this is a pessimistic question but here goes anyway….In 15 years time when you get asked the question “who was the best wrestler never to win the WWE Championship?’, I can see your answer already. Feel free to cut and paste in my answer when you get asked it. Cesaro. Am I being too cynical? I just have the awful feeling he’ll join the list of great wrestlers like Roddy Piper, Scott Hall, William Regal, Jake Roberts, Ricky Steamboat who were hugely popular but never had the chance to hold 'the big one’.

You aren’t being too cynical. Vince McMahon has not taken advantage of what he has in Cesaro. I hope that changes, but if it doesn’t, he may very well join the list you mentioned, which also includes Ted DiBiase.
