KURT ANGLE AGAIN TEASING MMA FIGHTING DEBUT

By Mike Johnson on 2015-11-06 21:42:14
Kurt Angle appeared on tonight's BELLATOR 145 broadcast on Spike and when asked about the possibility of fighting MMA after many years of wanting to do it, he commented, "I'm not gonna tease everybody but there is a possibility. We'll see, but I'm getting my feet wet here in BELLATOR and have a good time. I'm gonnna sit back for once in my life, relax and watch and eventually I'll make that decision."

The Olympic gold medalist has long teased going into MMA but never pulled the trigger and acknowledged on the Spike broadcast that had MMA have been as healthy in 1998 as it is today, he wouldn't have entered professional wrestling, although he also said he has no regrets.

Angle announced he would not sign a new TNA deal when his current one expires in January 2016. He provided commentary for the main event fight of TNA star Bobby Lashley vs. James Thompson.
