SETH ROLLINS INJURY UPDATE

By Mike Johnson on 2015-11-05 09:40:14
As we reported last night in the PWInsider Elite section, WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins tweaked his knee last night while wrestling Kane last night in Dublin, Ireland during the opening night of the WWE European tour.

As Matthew Macklin wrote in his live report from the show (which is on the main page of the site), Rollins attempted a sunset flip powerbomb, but when his legs hit the mat he fell and favoured his knee. After a few seconds he grabbed Kane and powerbombed him through the table. They then went to the finish with Rollins pedigreeing Kane onto a chair. After the match, Rollins had to be helped to the back and seemed unable to put any weight on his knee.

Rollins was scheduled to get the knee looked at after the show but the belief among those we've spoken to is that he would likely wrap the knee up and continue working the tour. WWE has a tour date later today in Cardiff, Wales so we will know soon enough what the true condition of the knee is. Stay tuned.
