SAMI ZAYN APPEARS: WHAT HAPPENED AFTER EVOLVE 49 WENT OFF THE AIR

After EVOLVE 49 went off the air on iPPV, WWE NXT star Sami Zayn came to the ring as Johnny Gargano and Ethan Page were recovering from their I Quit match main event. He said he was a professional wrestler who cut his teeth in EVOLVE. He said it's been a few years and he has an "indy sized hole" in his heart and thanked the fans for having him. He said he's missed this and thanks everyone for supporting EVOLVE.

Zayn said this is the ground floor of something very, very big for EVOLVE and it's just going to get bigger and better. He thanked everyone for being here. He then put over Gargano and told him that after seeing him in NXT and tonight, that there is no doubt Gargano is the man. Zayn said there's there's never been a more important time than now for him to step up and show it. He said Gargano should become EVOLVE champion.

A fan tossed a streamer in the ring so Gargano wrapped Zayn in it. Zayn thanked everyone for coming tonight. They played Zayn's music to send everyone home.
