KNOCKOUTS FIGHTING FOR TNA TITLE, MEANINGFUL DIVAS BOUTS, THE RETURN OF SAMI ZAYN AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2015-10-09 10:00:00
Based on TNA's announcement, the Knockouts are now fighting for the TNA title? Against men?

Yes. Based on the announcement, two Knockouts will be in the second stage of the World title series, a 16 person elimination tournament.

I know this sounds crazy, but should Vince McMahon and Vince Russo reunite as a creative partnership again? Maybe these two crazies, that are terrible as head writers, can once again be great co-writers together?

No.

I don't think NXT should have much a presence in the Royal Rumble, in terms of number of participants, in regards to keeping the brands separate. But how would you feel about Sami Zayn returning during the Rumble match? He could come in, last a long time and be one of remaining three or four people remaining before being eliminated by a strong heel. It would make a big impact for him and the NXT brand without it being too much of crossover between NXT and the rest of WWE. Thoughts?

I like the idea if it's to have Sami vs. Kevin Owens, since their careers have always been intertwined. Beyond that, NXT should get the return moment. He's part of their brand.

It seemed at the start of the Divas Revolution that Wrestlemania 32 could finally have the first real important and meaningful Divas match since Trish vs Mickie James at Mania 22. Then they've proceeded to book enough tag matches to make Teddy Long roll his eyes. Do you see them eventually moving toward a meaningful match, even if it's a 4-way, for the title or having another too-many-participants-to-care match that will have more finishing moves than minutes given to the match?

We've already seen that match. It was Bayley vs. Sasha Banks.

I've often been wondering how WWE commentators take restroom breaks during the show. In NBA & the NFL, they have commercials/time outs & halftime. In the NFL & MLB, the commentators are in a booth & the restroom is probably right down the hall. TNA is like that too since Josh Mathews & The Pope are in a studio themselves. In the NBA, the commentators are courtside but like I said, they have breaks during commercials & halftime. During a RAW/PPV the commentators are in the middle of the arena with no restroom in sight. When I went to WrestleMania 31, fans like myself could leave our seats & go the restroom at anytime but Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, & JBL were stuck in the middle of Levi Stadium having to commentate for 4 hours without a restroom nearby. I couldn't imagine sitting for 4 hours & calling a PPV without a restroom break. How exactly do they find the time to use the restroom?

They don't. They are at ringside for the duration.
