MASKED REPUBLIC & PERROS DEL MAL EXPAND LICENSING AGREEMENT - NEW PRODUCTS NOW AVAILABLE!
San Diego, CA - Earlier this year, Masked Republic became the first company outside of Mexico to legally license and manufacture one of the most sought after wrestling t-shirts in the world: the elusive Perros Del Mal logo shirt.Now, thanks to the success of sales of the officially licensed logo tee, Producciones Perros Del Mal has decided to extend it's licensing agreement with Masked Republic into additional items.
"We were very happy with the initial performance of the Perros Del Mal logo t-shirt and the Hijo Del Perro Aguayo tribute t-shirt which Masked Republic produced," said Kahn Del Mal, General Manager of the Perros Del Mal brand. "After Perrito's family met with Ruben Zamora recently in Mexico City, they granted Masked Republic the rights to expand merchandise offerings and categories as they felt that the company had been faithful to the brand and respectful to the legacy Perrito left his fans by way of the Perros Del Mal name."
"We are honored to continue to work with the Aguayo family and take pride in their decision to allow us to expand our offerings," Masked Republic CEO Zamora said. "Our LuchaShop.com customers and the fans we meet at live events have asked for a wide variety of products. The Aguayo family has said to us that because Perros Del Mal is something that Perrito left for his fans, they want the fans to have products for which they ask, and we look forward to bringing high quality apparel and collectibles to them. And, like with all luchador merchandise distributed by Masked Republic, royalties will be paid to the rights holders."
Fans who watched the Lucha Libre AAA Heroes Inmortales pay per view event this past Sunday saw two of the new items, the Perros Del Mal baseball t-shirt and Perros Del Mal soccer jersey, being worn by a number of stars on the show including Pentagon Jr, Taya Valkyrie, Konnan and Daga.
Also recently added to LuchaShop.com are two different style Perros Del Mal hoodies, Perros Del Mal dog clothes "for your perro," and a 5.5" plush keychain of Hijo Del Perro Aguayo himself. More items will launch throughout the next year.
