A LOT OF FANS ARE NOT HAPPY WITH WWE’S RECENT BOOKING

Having an awesome year, from a 5 star match at the Rumble, to almost working both TV shows & PPVs all year in the main event, Seth Rollins has been on fire. Watching him this year has been refreshing and you can almost see him becoming a main face before they’ve even turned him. They’ve struck gold. So why does John Cena beat him two nights running? (NOC and RAW). It’s seriously head scratching. They need to keep him as far away from Cena as possible, not having him be AA’d by Superman at every pointless chance.

I wish I had an answer. The only person it makes sense too, unfortunately, is the guy who makes the decisions.

So Cesaro (a wrestler in his prime who should be working his way up the card) is sacrificed to a guy at the tail end of his career to build him up to put over a part-timer to build him up for a match with another part-timer? And Vince sees no long-term issues with that type of booking? Could we cynically assume Vince, at his age, no longer cares about the future because it won't be his problem? And even more cynically wonder if a part of him wants HHH to inherit a crumbling empire to further cement the idea of his own genius if he were to fail?

Well, when you put it like that……Seriously, Vince is not trying to sabotage the product. He is doing what he thinks is “best for business”. I am with you though, Cesaro has now gotten very over organically, despite the poor way that he has been booked, and Vince has killed his push both times. It makes no sense to me. A good businessman protects his assets and gets the most that he can out of them. Vince just throws his away.

So in 2015 we have Cena beat the WWE champion clean 2 nights in a row, Big Show cleanly beat Cesaro 2 weeks in a row and the masked Kane destroy the champion and looking like he will headline the next PPV. Any wonder ratings are down when we can you tube these clips from 10 – 15 years ago except with different opponents?

As I have said in the past, WWE is still a very successful company. But, they could be even more successful if they made better use of their assets. They just haven’t done that. Most younger talents are just not protected. It’s unreal to me that it continues to happen.

So Rollins hits the frog splash on Raw and 11.6 seconds later (yes, I timed it), he's taken an AA and has been pinned cleanly. So, the the WWE champion has lost cleanly to the US Championship challenger and the US Champion on consecutive nights...This gives me the impression that the US championship is worth more and more prestigious than the Heavyweight Championship?! Love the site so I'll catch up with what's going on in WWE on here but for now, I'm not wasting my time, or money, watching Raw or PPV's anymore.

That is exactly how it made me feel too. That is not how it SHOULD be done.

First off, good job; love the site. I hate half-assing things, so, if the current direction is where the WWE creative team really wants to go, let’s go all the way. Why bother have championship matches? Let’s give all the belts to Cena and let everyone else fight for the opportunity to carry his bags. It seems that they are all not worth much more than that. Any thoughts?

I think a lot of people are really disenchanted with the way Vince is booking his company right now. There have literally been hundreds of questions just like these being sent in to the site. It’s not a good thing.
