TOUGH TALK REPORT FOR AUGUST 25, 2015: PUTTING A BOW ON THE SEASON OF TOUGH ENOUGH

By Richard Trionfo on 2015-08-25 21:25:13
Now that we know who has won Tough Enough, it is time for the final episode of Tough Talk.

Your host is Byron Saxton.

Byron is with Sara Lee and he asks her if she is pinching herself right now. He asks why did they think she should be the next WWE Diva.

She says that they have followed her on the journey and they got to see her put it all together tonight. She thanks everyone for voting for her.

Byron says that Sara has had a tough road. The coaches and judges have been tough on her. How did that affect you? Sara says that when they said things to her, it gets in your head, but you have to put it aside and put on a good show to prove them wrong.

Paige says that she wanted Amanda to win. Paige says that they have to work together now and she asks Sara if she wants to get in the ring with her. Paige says that it hurts her to say it, but she did well. Lita says that Sara did a good job.

Byron wants to ask Booker about the smile. Booker congratulates Sara. He says it is a serious atmosphere in the ring and he is very old school. Sara will get a chance to do her thing and he tells her to bring it.

Paige asks Sara if she thinks she can keep up with the NXT Divas because they have set the bar high. Sara says she will try.

Byron asks Sara if she has a message for the WWE Universe. She thanks them for believing in her.

Byron brings up Amanda and he asks her about what is going through her mind.

Amanda congratulates Sara for winning and she says it is an honor to be here. Amanda says that she thinks she is better than Sara and she does not know if they made the right decision. Amanda is asked if it was a popularity contest and Amanda says it was. She was one of the people to show that she could play different roles while others played themselves. Amanda says that the bar is high in NXT with the women and she hopes to get there some day.

Chris Jericho says that Amanda embraced things after Miz saved her. She did show that she could play a character.

Bryon asks Sara about her first match and whether she outperformed Amanda tonight. Sara thought she executed well. She didn’t fudge anything up and she showed that she could be serious in the ring.

Amanda disagrees and she did not think Sara did better than her. She says that Sara was dull. Maybe she did not do everything perfect but she got a better crowd reaction.

Byron asks Amanda if she thinks she is better than Sara and Amanda says yes.

Bryon asks Sara where will she be in a year. Sara says that she will be a Diva in a year. Byron asks what her goals are. She plans to improve in the ring and she will be way ahead of what we just saw in the ring.

Miz has a question for the coaches. He asks if she will be in WWE in a year. The coaches think it will happen, but maybe not a year.

Hunter says Miz is here so anything can happen.

Byron talks to Josh and asks how he does the growl.

Josh says he has put in a lot of hard work over the last ten weeks. He is all in and the fact that he came out on top means a lot. The sky’s the limit. He is looking forward to getting to work and improving.

Chris asks about Josh’s ghetto voice. Josh didn’t notice it. Josh says he got possessed.

Byron mentions that Josh’s inspiration might be here and we see Josh’s daughter. He says she keeps him going. He says that she is three years old.

Byron asks him about being in his first match. Was it harder than he thought? Josh says prepping the last few days to make sure he could do it. Getting in the ring with Cesaro helped and he had some butterflies in his stomach. He wanted to focus so he did not get lost in there.

Byron asks ZZ about getting only 30 percent of the vote and what was he thinking.

ZZ says that Josh is one hell of a man and ZZ says he is one hell of a man. Hunter says that ZZ did do a lot by shaving his chest to show some definition. Paige mentions that Sylvester Lefort does that too. Hunter points out that Jerry Lawler does it too.

ZZ says he is proud of Josh.

Byron asks about Miz calling out ZZ about his stamina in the ring. He says it is nothing he didn’t hear before. He appreciates the critical advice and he will work hard to be better.

Miz reminds ZZ that they have been telling him to get in the gym to show that ethic. You have the charisma.

Daniel says that as someone critical of ZZ last week and the work he put in. Daniel says he understands what Miz is saying, but ZZ did a wonderful job tonight. He said that there was a problem with the drop down. If you were in better shape, you might have been there. You did a good job. Daniel points out that Josh messed up too. He tells ZZ he needs to get into better shape and maybe it should not have been brought up tonight since you did a good job.

Daniel tells ZZ he should hold his head high.

Chris says they did well and there were some mistakes. For your first match ever, on national TV, it was really good. Chris says Daniel was right and it was a wonderful job. Chris says everyone was nervous because what happens if there is a screw up and you just stand there in the ring.

He points out that you have been under the microscope the entire time. You have handled it well.

Chris says the correct final four was on the stage tonight.

Byron talks to the coaches and he asks Billy if he agreed with the picks for the winners. Billy says he thinks Amanda should have won. They put every ounce of effort into all of them. They were awesome students and all to work with. He kept telling ZZ to give him something. Josh did everything right. He looks like a superstar and that is why he wanted him to win.

Byron asks what was the biggest issue with ZZ. Billy wanted him to do something. He did not want ZZ to change his body because we have all different body types. Those guys can go and ZZ could not do it. Billy says it was frustrating.

Byron asks about Amanda and Billy says that Amanda is better with her feet. If you have your feet, you are fine. He talks about a Billyism and he says that Sara has skittery feet. Amanda put in the work and Sara did too, but Amanda got it faster. Amanda had the look that connects more. Billy is asked about their personalities and he says that one has one and the other doesn’t.

Hunter comes over and he says that people talk about charisma. It isn’t just about who smiles and who says what. It is the connection. Hunter talks about how he did not see his children on Sunday and he got to see them for five minutes and they were excited to see him, but they told him that they were excited that they got to meet Sara. She connected with them and he does not know why and he does not get it. That is charisma. Whether anyone sees it or not, it happens.

Chris mentions there are people who have been stars and they are different. Chris mentions Bret Hart and Jeff Hardy.

Hunter says that they thought Sara was the girl next door and people will get it. The connection with the fanbase is what is important.

Byron asks Lita if Amanda should have won and she says she should have won. Early on it is hard to see who would stand out. When Amanda got hit, she got back up and wanted more. Sara was different. She did not like to get hit. The energy feeds her.

ZZ is uncomfortable when he bumps. Josh gets fired up when he is hit. It will come to Amanda and Josh faster than with ZZ and Sara.

Byron asks Booker. He agrees with them. He thinks they got it wrong with the women. He says that Josh should have won. He has transformed himself. ZZ did not work hard enough to win this. The WWE Universe was behind ZZ. Booker says that ZZ cheated himself into not winning. Booker says he was frustrated not seeing ZZ work harder. You have to want to do it yourself. He was a great actor and he almost pulled the wool over everyone’s eyes and he almost won this.

Byron turns to Renee and asks her who should have won among the women. Renee says that she has never been in the ring and she only knows the personality aspect. The intangible quality resonates. As an athlete, Amanda is superior. Maybe she can continue to work at it.

Byron asks Hunter if his children got to meet Amanda and he says he does not know. He says that they would talk about Sara and there was a connection.

Hunter says an athlete can get it easier, but there are a lot of athletes who cannot make it. If it comes easy, but if someone else wants it more, you will succeed.

Hunter says that Josh asked him how much he won by because he is competitive. That will drive Josh. Whether you are the best athlete or not. Hunter tells ZZ he needs to find it. Hunter reminds ZZ that when he was given a second chance. Hunter reminds ZZ that he said he might die before he is done. Hunter says he did not see that in ZZ. If you have the heart, there is no reason why you cannot succeed. Without the heart, you are going nowhere. It is how far you are willing to take it.

Byron asks everyone who they thought should have won from the men and it appears by applause and growling, the pick was Josh.

Byron asks for the opinion for the women and it sounded like Sara might have had a slight advantage.

Chris says that everyone had something to offer. ZZ’s personality and Sara’s likeability worked. Amanda being a heel might have hurt her. Josh looked like the total package. ZZ lasted two minutes but we need to see if he can go four or more minutes.

People who many never thought would get to the top made it.

We go to credits.
