UNDERTAKER & LESNAR FACE OFF ON RAW, FREE PAUL HEYMAN EVENT THIS WEEK, LIGER, NEW BOOK ON 100 GREATEST WWE MATCHES, SUMMERSLAM UPDATE AND MORE NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2015-08-17 11:34:51

WWE will broadcast the go-home show for Summerslam tonight in Brock Lesnar's hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The main selling point of tonight's show is that Undertaker and Lesnar will both be in the same place before their Summerslam showdown.  John Cena will also officially return to Raw tonight.

Expect at least one more match added to the Summerslam lineup tonight.

WWE will tape Main Event and Smackdown tomorrow from Green Bay, Wisconsin.  If anyone is attending, we are seeking live reports.

SiriusXM's Sam Roberts will be recording his Sam Roberts Live podcast in NYC this Thursday with Paul Heyman and Corey Graves at Caroline's Comedy Club at 2 PM.  Admission is FREE but you must reserve via this link.

As of right now, Jushin Liger is only working the WWE NXT show.  He is staying for Summerslam to watch the show but is not slated to appear on the PPV or Raw.  In speaking to a good friend in Japan yesterday, I was told that the word there is that Liger ended up booked because William Regal called and invited him, which is the same story Regal told on Twitter.  I was told Liger took the booking because it would give him a chance to debut in WWE and come to the United States for about a week and he loves being here in the States.   Liger has the ability to book his own independent dates outside of New Japan, which is how he's able to do the NXT show.

Craig Tello, who has worked on a number of WWE-related books, is currently writing WWE's 100 Greatest Matches.  The book is slated for a May 2016 release.

Raw the day after Summerslam at the Barclays Center is officially sold out.

Add Bubba Ray Dudley to the list of those in town for Summerslam weekend as he'll be doing a seminar this Saturday 8/22 at the Monster Factory in New Jersey at 1:30 PM.

With three male competitors remaining: ZZ, Tanner and Josh, one of them will be eliminated this Tuesday on Tough Enough to set up the finals next week.  We are down to Sara Lee and Amanda for the women's finals.  WWE taped a ton of footage with the cast at Universal Studios in Orlando last week.

The plot for Tuesday's Total Divas: "Tensions ride high in the Bella family when JJ tries to take over the twins' new business; Trinity goes above and beyond in her role as stepmother; and Eva devises a risky plan to prove herself to the Divas."

Our friends at www.highspots.com are now selling a really nice autographed print of WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race.
