NXT CALL-UPS DROPPING THEIR NXT TITLES, AJ'S TITLE REIGN, TAG TEAM TURMOIL AND MORE

I'm not a big fan of NXT champions getting called up to the main roster and then subsequently dropping their NXT titles, a la Kevin Owens (and probably Sasha Banks). If someone in the minor leagues can beat them, what are they doing in the "Bigs" ?!? Should there exist an "NXT Call-up Rule" where the belt is immediately held up and a tournament or top contenders match is held to decide a new champ ?? We are trying to PUSH Superstars to the main card, we don't do that by having them job.

Absolutely not. One of the reasons NXT has become so popular is the fact that the booking has been done well. If you have every performer just giving up titles, the entire thing would fall apart and become meaningless. Wrestlers win and lose, that's how wrestling works.

Do you expect more NXT Takeover Specials to take place the night before a WWE PPV moving forward? I could envision them doing that for the Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam, and Survivor Series.

I think, depending on the market and whether WWE feels they have a major fan base coming in, we'll see the NXT shows the night before. That doesn't mean they will all be Takeover broadcasts, however. It's smart business for WWE to run the shows.

Is it just me or do you think the WWE should have a tag team turmoil match in the near future? I enjoyed the Judgment Day 2001 Tag Team Turmoil match in which Benoit & Jericho won to become the No. 1 contender's.

I think the Gauntlet format has been used so much by TNA over the years that it needs to be put to rest in general for a long time, similar to WWE overusing handicap matches on Raw.

Do you think the WWE will be interested in signing Prince Puma/Ricochet and what about Tessa Blanchard?

Puma is under contract to Lucha Underground. I think Tessa needs some seasoning but could be on the radar down the line.

Is it the plan for Nikki Bella to hold onto the Divas title long enough to eventually break the record held by AJ Lee?

If Bella gets her way, yes. It's something that she has pushed for.
