HOGAN WANTS GAWKER CHARGED FOR TAPE LEAKING

By Mike Johnson on 2015-07-29 14:34:58
TMZ.com ran a report noting that Hulk Hogan's attorneys filed a motion today in Florida as part of his ongoing lawsuit against Gawker.com, claiming that the website's Nick Denton leaked the tapes that featured Hogan using ethnic and homophobic slurs in an attempt to damage Hogan's suit against Gawker.

Hogan is suing for $100 million over Gawker having posting one minute of clips from his sex tape with Heather Clem as well as a review. The leaked tapes featuring the slurs, recorded eight years ago, led to WWE dropping Hogan as an ambassador for the company and taking great lengths to eradicate all connection to the WWE Hall of Famer.

The leaked tapes had been marked confidential by the court. Hogan believes that Gawker leaked the tapes to another media outlet. Hogan is demanding an investigation and according to the TMZ story, is requesting that if Gawker is deemed responsible, they be criminally charged and he be ruled the winner of his lawsuit.

Gawker has denied having any role in the latest leak.
