WHAT HULK HOGAN CAN DO TO GET BACK INTO WWE AND MORE

With all the steps WWE is taking to distance themselves from Hogan, what are they doing to distance themselves from Mike Tyson, who is a CONVICTED RAPIST?

The short answer is nothing, for a few reasons. One, the Hogan story just happened and they knew it would get massive coverage so they had to get out in front of it and be proactive. There is no way that as a business, they couldn’t do what they did. It doesn’t mean that Hogan is gone forever from WWE, but he has to be gone for now. It’s just what they had to do from a business perspective. There are two other factors here. One is that Tyson is in the celebrity wing, while Hogan is one of the top stars in company history. The other is that Tyson did his time and has gone through rehabilitation. Hogan would be wise to do the same thing, take sensitivity training and then become an advocate against racism. If he does that, there is no reason why, in time, he can’t come back to WWE.

First of all I would like to say that I'm African American. I'm not that offended about Hulk Hogan comments he made 8 years ago.I think a sincere apology from the Hulkster would have enough.  If Hogan would have said that he hated all N****** or wanted to kill N****** I think It would have been a bigger deal. And why was Hogan punished for what he said 8 years ago when the guy who said a racist comment to Alberto Del Rio (El Patron) last year still works for the company?

Actually it was 2008 when he made the comments, so it was seven years ago. As I said above, Hogan is an icon and a face of WWE. His comments were made public. In Del Rio’s case, it was one man’s claim against another, and there was no proof to back it up as there was with Hogan.

If WWE is considering revoking Hulk Hogan's Hall of Fame status (as well as basically his entire existence on their website) for racist comments, wouldn't the next logical step be doing the same to Donald Trump for essentially the same thing? Or am I unrealistic in expecting consistent logic from WWE?

See the first answer above. Trump is in the celebrity wing of the Hall and while a lot of his statements are offensive to some, he is also resonating with people who think he is “telling the truth” as the polls show at the moment. He hasn’t made blatant racist comments…..yet.

Don't you think that it would be easier on the wrestlers' schedules and time away from home if one half of the roster worked house shows one week with the second half getting those days off, and then switching it around the next week? I know that WWE sometimes runs two house shows a day on occasion (necessitating all hands on deck), but I think it would be beneficial to morale and the wrestlers' overall health and sanity if they got a few more days to go home and spend time with their families.

I agree with you on that. Unfortunately that is not the way WWE wants to operate. The talents know that when they sign on.

With Hulk Hogan now gone what does this mean for Axelmania? Is it time for The Axel Tonk Man to make a run in the WWE?

At this point, WWE has had him and Damien Sandow go back to their old gimmicks. I hope it doesn’t mean the end to any push the two guys get.
