PPVS RUNNING OVER THEIR SCHEDULED TIME, WWE FILMS ON THE WWE NETWORK, CM PUNK IN WWE 2K16 AND MORE

I saw that CZW is coming to PPV and I flash back to the night I spent seven hours in the ECW Arena in 2001 because they took so long to start and get through their Cage of Death.  Could this be the first PPV to go over and end before we see a finish?

I brought the EXACT same thing up to CZW owner DJ Hyde when I interviewed him last week in the Elite section of PWInsider.com.  Basically, he is aware of the worry and the company has been working hard in recent years to be on point.  They already have plans of what they can do when they are live on the air to keep PPV fans interested as they do set up for major stipulation matches.

Speaking of PPVs going over, has that ever happened in pro wrestling?

I believe it has twice, and both times in WCW.  I remember Roddy Piper and Hulk Hogan going over their time at a Halloween Havoc event when Piper debuted for WCW and the show went off the air as they went back and forth.  Then, there was a WCW Halloween Havoc show where Goldberg was wrestling DDP and the cable systems shut the show off even though WCW had gotten additional satellite time.

Why are the WWE Studios films not seen on the WWE Network?

I think they will be on in time but most likely, the original distribution and TV rights are still active and they can't just be placed on the Network because they'd be in violation of those deals.

What does WWE do with all the leftover merchandise they couldn't sell?

I believe a lot of the leftover clothes, jackets, etc. are donated to charity.  The other material is probably marked down until it's all gone.

Any chance of CM Punk in WWE 2K16?

There's always a chance, but I really doubt WWE and Punk want to do business with each other ever again.
