LEGENDS OF THE RING

By Jason James on 2015-07-19 06:54:12

Throughout the years there have been many wrestlers who have come and gone, but some of them will forever remind us of some memorable times where they gave us the most spectacular sports entertainment by putting their own life at risk on the wrestling ring. There are many wrestlers who deserve the praise of keeping us entertained with the physical prowess, attitude, humour, and fighting performance. We all enjoy some professional wrestler for their style, attitude, tone, and looks over others. Many of us have started watching it in different eras’, featuring different icons and heroes. Today we bring to you some of the legends who have marked the history of wrestling in their own way.

While in the WWE Universe, you can find various Superstar and Diva giving us one of the best sports entertainment, there is also a gentlemen fighting game called Fisticuffs Slot that can keep you entertained at the popular online casino called Magical Vegas. Fisticuffs takes us back to the boxing arena of the 1900s, a time when boxing was for gentlemen. On this 5 reels, 10 payline slot machine by Net Entertainment, you will experience punches flying on the reels when the Boxing Feature is triggered. This game features Wild, Stacked Wild, Diagonal Wild and Straight Wild. When both Diagonal and Straight Wilds appear next to each other, it initiates the Boxing feature that awards you additional wilds. Magical Vegas offers numerous slots games from top game providers as well as video poker, blackjack, roulette, and live casino games that can give you the best online gaming entertainment.

We firstly want to mention the WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, as one of the biggest legend in Wrestling, whom the whole wrestling world is currently paying tribute to, after he left us at the age of 69 in June this year. This 6 ft.2in man known as “The American Dream” who was the son of a plumber, became a giant of the sport in the 70’s and 80’s. Though he did not have a bodybuilding physique, he was wildly entertaining in the ring and very few performers could match his magnetism. He had the honour of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his 2 sons, Cody Rhodes and Goldust (Dustin Rhodes) who are both WWE Superstars.

Jerry Lawler is another guy who has been a wrestling icon with not less than 168 titles. In the 1980s era, Lawler “the King” was one of the most popular wrestler, and his war against his rival Bret Hart which lasted several years have created memorable moments. Another great force in WWE is undeniably Andre the Giant who stands at 7ft and who weighted around 520 lbs. This giant signature moves which we all loved were the Double Underhook Suplex, and the Sitdown Splash. This man won the 20-man battle royal at WrestleMania 2 back in 1986 in less than 10 minutes. One of the most famous match in WWE history was between Andre the Giant and the Hulkster Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 3 in 1987.

There are several more legends that have marked the history of wrestling such as Eddie Guerrero, Edge, Gorgeous George, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Rick Flair, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ultimate Warrior, and Yokozuna. Each of them have left many good memories of their times spent on and off the ring in the WWE universe and they have all been inducted into the Hall of Fame of the WWE as they truly deserve it!
