Doctors diagnosed that Angle was suffering from a large buildup of fluid on his spinal cord, which was a complication from having the benign tumor in his neck removed last week. The surgery was to relieve pressure on Angle's spine. He was rushed into surgery because the condition could be life-threatening.
Angle will be missing a signing appearance in the UK due to the surgery. He had gone right back on the road for appearances after his initial surgery, doing a signing for a minor league baseball game in Illinois before heading to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Waterloo, Iowa where he was honored.
Angle had been scheduled for the TNA tapings next week but no word if he was intending to wrestle.
