Piper guesses Austin didn't feel the same way, and it was his mistake because on the Monday that it had aired, PodcastOne took down all his podcasts 6 hours after it went online because and "took him off the air" because Austin got upset and had them taken down.
Piper said he got a call from the head of PodcastOne telling him that he can't talk about Austin, and he (the head of PodcastOne) wanted to fire him but changed his mind. He translated that as they don't want him there anymore. He thought about it for a while, and told them he can't work under these conditions. He cannot be censored or pushed around. If he is not welcomed in someone's house, he's the first to get out.
Piper says maybe he became seasoned now, and the old Piper would just walk out but he has a fanbase now, and he needed to do podcasts to keep them around. He kept doing it for a while, and then he went dark for three weeks. He said he didn't mean to offend Austin in anyway, and apologized if he did. He brings up how he often jokes about Ric Flair dating two women at the same time, because if he fell asleep, they would have someone to talk to. He said Flair would not be offended and take his podcast down because "they are wrestlers" and that's how they rib each other.
Piper says he has all the respect for Austin and hopes he does all that he wants to do in life. He did not lie about anything and he is done talking about it.
