STING VS. ROCK AT MANIA?, WWE NETWORK BROADCASTING FROM LONDON, HHH RESPONDING TO CHYNA & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2015-07-09 10:00:00

With the WWE Network giving WWE much more flexibility and opportunities (Elimination Chamber and the Tokyo show come to mind) how long until we see a PPV in London? It's been way too long.

I'd be shocked if we didn't see something from the UK within the next year or so.    If WWE is willing to broadcast a PPV from Tokyo at 5:30 AM, they will easily be able to broadcast from London.

I am new to NJPW and I have a question about tournaments like the G1 Climax and the BOTSJ.  I noticed looking at the results of last year's G1, A.J. Styles and Kazuchika Okada were tied for points in Block B, but Okada advanced to the finals.  In 2013, there was a six way tie for points but Tetsuya Naito advanced to the finals.  How is it determined who advances in the event of a tie?

In the case of 2013,  Naito was advanced because he won his final match while the others did not.   In the case of someone being tied without one of the competitors being given the nod for performance they would have a bout to determine who advances.

I understand WWE having to make public statements in regards to the lawsuits against them...but why does HHH continue to even respond to Chyna?  The claims of abuse are ridiculous, have been debunked on national radio by X-Pac, yet HHH responds to her on Twitter after every accusation.  Don't you feel ignoring what no one takes seriously in the first place would be the better course of action? Also do you feel she is trying to interfere with X-Pac's life by burying him in the media now that he finally has his legends contract?

Triple H is a corporate officer of a public officer, so I don't blame he or WWE for repeatedly denying any of the accusations Chyna has laid against him, no matter how much more ridiculous they sound with each claim.  I don't think she's out to ruin Sean Waltman as much as she's trapped emotionally in what went down years ago, so she keeps bringing up the situation in an attempt to get past it and in doing so, attacks Waltman, Triple H, WWE, etc.  Unfortunately for her, she just keeps going in circles and it just gets increasingly sad.

What do you think of Sting vs. The Rock at Wrestlemania?

While it's an interesting idea, my gut feeling is we won't see Sting working with a major name at Wrestlemania.  I'd expect to see Rock following up on his angle with Ronda Rousey or perhaps Brock Lesnar.

Now that Brock Lesnar is a babyface, will Paul Heyman remain with him?

All signs are that Heyman and Lesnar will still be a duo.  Heyman is the perfect voice for Lesnar and I don't think a turn is going to change that.
