TNA executive Bob Ryder answered a ton of fans questions in the comments of articles on TNA website TNA Mecca regarding this week's Impact. Now, I'm not going to recap the whole conversation as can read it for yourself in the full context here on Ryder's DISQUS user profile (which he logs in through his Twitter account).
When someone asked whether TNA was going to work with ROH alongside Global Force Wrestling, Ryder said the following:
"We have had talks at various times to see if ROH would want to do business with us. They weren't interested at the time. Maybe we should get aggressive and go after some of their unsigned talent? That would be interesting."
On the role of new Chief Strategy Officer Eric Sherman, he said the following:
"Help in all areas. He will develop a strategy to include branding, where our programming should air, live event strategy, etc."
On the company running live events, Bob answered with the following:
"We are starting back with 3 in September. We have Bound For Glory in October and may add shows the same weekend. May have an international tour in November (waiting on building avail), and could add December shows.
Bob would later add that Bound for Glory will not be in Orlando saying they haven't finalized the building yet."
On the company's new business model regarding contracts:
"Some will like it some won't. Will be a rebuilding process to replace those who left."
Ryder also revealed that Awesome Kong is working with a back injury. Apparently they are also scouting for new talent in the X Division and the company just had talks with an unnamed Japanese promotion that went well. He said they are working on something "huge"
