Last night's Smackdown taping in Hershey, PA opened with the Mega Powers hyping the crowd, out comes Brad Maddox who trashes the Hershey area. Mega Powers hit signature moves to get rid of Maddox.
WWE Main Event:
*Bo Dallas d. Zach Ryder
*Fandango d. Heath Slater
*Luke Harper d. Jack Swagger
*Tyler Breeze d. ? (unsure if actually for Main Event or just a dark match)
There were large sections taped off on the camera side and upper tier with the rest of the area mostly filled. Much smaller crowd than when I attended a taping a few years back. They announced a return date, for another Smackdown taping on 12/1/15.
The most over was probably Dean Ambrose with Roman Reigns a close second.
The most heel heat was Rusev and Summer during their promo and Seth Rollins w/ J&J security.
I haven't watched Smackdown in a while and it really felt like this was just a B-rate show. Aside from the former Shield members, no real star power. The smaller crowd just made it feel more like a house show when it came to reactions.
Of note, looking at WWE gear on fans, at least one-third was Cena oriented, it was unfortunate for those that he wasn't there.
