INTERNAL REACTION TO RAW AUDIENCE, MONSTER FACTORY RESPONDS TO BIG SHOW, DAY LUGER SLAMMED YOKOZUNA, HULK TEAMS WITH SMOSH & MORE

As you can imagine, WWE isn't thrilled with the Raw number.  Our pal Billy Krotchsen sent word that the audience number is actually the lowest since the late 1990s for a non-holiday Raw.

Speaking of Raw, I wanted to thank everyone who sent kind words about last night's Raw Post Game Show in the Elite section, which featured Graham Cawthon and myself discussing the day Lex Luger slammed Yokozuna on the deck of the U.S.S Intrepid in 1993, which I was actually in attendance for discussing all sorts of live notes about the taping, which for the most part, has never, ever been shown on WWF/WWE TV.  If you want to check it out, you can subscribe to the Elite section by clicking here.

Danny Cage, who runs the Monster Factory training school in New Jersey, wasn't happy with how Big Show described training there on Chris Jericho's podcast recently.  Cage, via his Twitter account, wrote, "For those that heard Big Show on Jericho podcast. Know that a large chunk of what Show said about his time at the Monster Factory was not true. Not going to even get into how he was "discovered" But he did not get charged $5,000. Or any amount. He was sponsored and they paid the $3,000 for training. He also did way more than just run the ropes or lock up. Just ask the Headbangers, Chuck Sloan or any number of wrestlers there at the time. I have no clue what his issue is with our school. But I have a problem when someone says things that could cost me business. That's about it. Thanks. "

For whatever it's worth, the first time I encountered Big Show was at a fan convention the late Dennis Coralluzo put together in Cherry Hill, NJ in November 1994.  He was with The Rock N' Roll Express hanging out and introduced himself to a group of people I was standing with and noted he was training at the Monster Factory.  At the time, the school would have been owned and operated by Larry Sharpe, who sold it to Cage several years back when he moved from New Jersey to Florida.  That night in 1994, Show was backstage at the original ECW in Philadelphia trying to get in there.  A year later, he was beating Hulk Hogan for the WCW World title at Halloween Havoc '95.

Sheamus noted on Twitter that today marked the six year anniversary of his WWE TV debut.

Youtube celebrity SMOSH recently teamed with Hulk Hogan and Seth Rollins for the latest edition of his episodic series "Best [Blank] Ever" where SMOSH's team attempts to do impersonations of every major wrestler you can think of with Hogan and Rollins' assistance:
