They knew but things got turned around on them. When TNA'S air date for Impact Wrestling was moved from Friday to Wednesday, it totally screwed up their taping plans. It's as frustrating for those inside the company as it is for you.
So, I'm trying to give TNA yet another chance and I applaud them for making an effort to have a big splash on Wednesday's program. Kudos for the shocker of the Jarretts coming out and Karen's promo was great, but then three more successive surprise returns was just overkill. Does anyone in TNA understand storytelling? Why don't they spread out these surprise returns? The impact, pun intended, got weaker each time and what will they do on their next three shows without the benefit of a surprise return?
I see your point but TNA was trying extremely hard to get people talking and to get them interested in tomorrow's Slammiversary PPV. I can't fault them for that.
What is the point of R-Truth's new character?
WWE is trying to slide him into the sort of role that Santino Marella used to portray for the company.
Am I nuts or did Freddy Krueger used to wrestle in Memphis?
You aren't nuts. While the Freddy Krueger character, as portrayed by Robert Englund (one of my favorite ever actors, for any of you who care) did not appear or wrestle in Memphis, there was someone in a Freddy costume billed as "Nightmare Freddy". That character was portrayed by Doug Gilbert in Memphis.
