WWE announced Erick Rowan was injured at their live event this past Friday, but did not provide addtional details. I was told Rowan is still being evaluated. The company seems to be acting a lot more cautious in terms of releasing medical information on talents of late.
Speaking of injuries, Tyson Kidd was seen wearing a hard neck brace while attending Dusty Rhodes' funeral last week.
The title of the forthcoming WWE Sting DVD and Blu-Ray is "Sting: Into the Light." It will be released on 10/13. Thanks to James Russell.
Baseball legend Pete Rose, who is in the WWE Hall of Fame for their celebrity wing and has made a number of WWE appearances over the years, is back in the news today as ESPN has acquired a notebook from his former bookie that allegedly shows proof that Rose bet on baseball games while a player. Rose has been banned from baseball for many years due to the transgression and filed an official request earlier this year asking for the ban to be overturned.
I'm not sure when these were taped, but the MSG Network has a series titled "Hall of Fame" with interviews with different athletes. There are episodes devoted to Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper in rotation currently. The episodes are 60 minutes.
