SMART FANS HATING ON CENA-OWENS, DISRESPECTING THE BIG SHOW, GETTING PAIGE HELP AGAINST THE BELLAS AND MORE

Is Destination America aware that their viewership for ROH may be hurt a bit by the fact that they are a week behind the syndicated shows? I mean I watch ring of honor on Sunday nights here which frees up the hour on Wednesday  for either NXT or Lucha Underground. Would it help if they were the first to air the new episode that week instead of the syndicates?

Yes, they are well aware of that fact. They know they are getting a repeat airing but it’s worth it to them to see how it performs and so far, it has been very good. I am hoping that when the 26 date agreement runs out, the sides come to a new deal.

I think I'm missing something here, but why do the fans chant for the Big Show to retire?  I find that chant highly disrespectful, and who are the fans to tell a wrestler how long he should keep wrestling?  Sure he turns heel and face far too often to get invested in his storylines, but unless I'm missing something, he's not over the hill, his body is still healthy, his in-ring work hasn't dropped off much (if any) from what it's always been, and he isn't constantly pushed down our throats in a top spot (like Cena), so I’m puzzled as to why the fans are demanding to not see him in the ring anymore.  He still has great value as an attraction, like how Andre was used late in his career.

It is definitely disrespectful. The guy is just doing what the company asks of him. I think some fans are just sick of seeing him in the limelight, plus he has turned so many times now, for really bad reasons, that he doesn’t have much goodwill with them in his current role.

I just need to say I'm getting pretty sick and tired of The Bellas' crap. I'm failing to see why the company is behind either of them and why they don't pull the trigger with Paige as champ again instead of constantly making her look bad in the ring. All in all, I'm getting a big Triple H vibe from Nikki due to her relationship with John Cena. So please, explain to me what the deal is.

Vince McMahon has always been behind them. And they are a focal point of Total Divas. Hopefully, Paige will bring up Charlotte (as is rumored), and maybe some other NXT talent, soon to help her against the Bellas and things will get more interesting with the Divas.

Do you have any idea as to why my comments are being censored on WWE.com? All I said was other people's posts showed that they did not understand the inner workings of Pro Wrestling and referred them to the PW Insider app. As of this email to you, 5 different posts are not showing. The article was about Owens attacking MGK on Raw. Any ideas here?

I think you answered it yourself when you said you referred them here. They aren’t in the business of sending their fans to sites like ours.

Looking at the reaction on Twitter to the second Owens/Cena match, why do you think so many "smart" wrestling fans can't tell the difference between getting buried, and taking a loss that doesn't hurt you at all?

That is a great question, it really is. I was surprised so many people were going nuts about it myself, to the point I sent a “calm down folks” tweet out on my personal Twitter account (@davescherer). The only thing I can come up with is that they were thinking about guys like Bray Wyatt and Rusev getting smacked down by Cena and didn’t want the same thing to happen to “their guy” Kevin Owens. So far, that has anything but the case. I am guessing that past events are affecting how they look at current ones. But as I type this on Sunday, Owens has been booked very strongly so far.
