WHERE'S STING, WHY WWE WOULD TEASE AUSTIN VS. LESNAR, CARRYING THE BELT AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2015-06-12 10:00:00

I know that at least in the WWE, the title holder is responsible for his/her belt and that they have to carry it from venue to venue rather than it being transported with other props and equipment. So with the current storyline where Dean Ambrose has stolen possession of the belt, does he have to carry it around or does Seth?

My guess is that if Ambrose isn't holding it from town to town, the WWE prop department is carrying it from show to show.

I love the wwe network. Especially for being able to go back to watch old PPVs. Any idea if WWE intends to add chapter markers based on matches to the shows? Kind of similar to DVDs or even movies on iTunes. It sure would be great to be able to select a certain ppv and then a specific match on the card rather than having to fast forward through everything to get to the match we'd like to watch.

I think eventually, they will get there. I haven't heard a timetable for such an addition, however.

Why would anyone give consideration to a Lesnar/Stone Cold match? As much as I'd like to see the 1998 Stone Cold wrestle Lesnar, this match in 2016 would be horrendous. Austin's neck is messed up. He wouldn't be able to take a single Lesnar suplex on it without risking paralysis or death. I think this would be the worst possible opponent for Austin if he were to attempt one more match. Why would Heyman/Austin even bring it up?

It was brought up because it's a dream match. That doesn't mean the match could happen or even should happen, but the idea of teasing it leads to a lot of talk and buzz and WWE is all about getting people to talk about something to create a buzz. Paul Heyman succeeded in this regard on the Austin Podcast.

Where is Sting?

He's home in Dallas waiting to see what the next move for him in WWE is, if there is one.

Was Randy Hogan, enhancement talent from the 1980s NWA, related to Hulk Hogan?

No, not at all.
