STEVE AUSTIN VS. BROCK LESNAR UPDATE

On the latest edition of his podcast, Steve Austin addressed the potential of a Wrestlemania 32 bout against Brock Lesnar stemming from his promo at the end of the Stone Cold Podcast with Paul Heyman on the WWE Network.

Austin said that he didn't know what Heyman was going to say and went into promo mode because it was right for the Stone Cold character (talking about "whipping Brock's ass") but didn't mean to raise the expectations of fans. Austin said his intention was not to set up a match and said he and Lesnar would be doing different things going forward.

Austin said he wanted to make it clear that in that moment, he wasn't attempting to build to a Wrestlemania match.

So, take that for what you will.
