KANE'S MASK, CENA MAKING OWENS, BROCK WORKING HOUSE SHOW IN JAPAN AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2015-06-05 10:00:00
Am I the only one who's noticed that Kane's mask has recently reappeared in the Authorities office and is clearly in view often times now? Maybe I'm reading too much into this and have watched too many a TV show, but usually when something like that happens its hinting at something. Could we see the masked demon come back again soon? And possibly a turn by Kane on the Authority?

The mask appears from time to time depending on the office set. Obviously, there's been a tease of Kane changing from Corporate Kane (I can't believe how silly I feel writing that) back into the Demon Kane (even sillier), so it could be the mask is there for the big moment where he takes it and becomes that version of Kane again. We will see.

WWE is kind of a spiteful company and I was just wondering if you think they may give Nikki a longer title reign than AJ just to beat her record. They did it with Randy Orton becoming the youngest champion after Brock left.

It could be. If that is indeed the plan, it's not one they will ever admit publicly.

Brock Lesnar working a house show, albeit in Japan, seems suspicious to me. Is there any chance the Japan show ends up as a WWE Network Special much like how Elimination Chamber came about?

It's been announced that show will indeed be a Network special, which explains Lesnar working the show.

I'm not a big John Cena fan but I appreciate his work and being the ambassador for the WWE that he is maybe this will lay to rest everybody's criticism of him not putting talent over putting over Kevin Owens last night what are your thoughts?

Nothing will eve rend that criticism. For every moment like Kevin Owens at the Elimination Chamber PPV, someone will point to The Nexus or Bray Wyatt or Rusev, and they would be right. No one is perfect and at times, Cena is going to get blamed for things that were beyond his control. I think that Cena has shown that when WWE wants someone brought to the next level, he's able to do it and is far more versatile then he usually gets credit for. He's great when he's put into the position to be great.

I think WWE should hire some of the older announcers, like Bob Caudle, Gene Okerlund, Lance Russell, Jim Ross, etc. to be the voices and faces of the WWE Network, hosting segments and telling people what's coming up later in the day. Thoughts?

I can't tell you how much I love the hell out of this idea. What a great way to use some of the elder statesmen of wrestling announcing and paying tribute to the past. I think it's a home run. Would WWE ever do it? I hope so.
